Key information to enjoy Majorca in summer
Where to go on the hottest days
In summer, beach time naturally becomes the focus of each day in Majorca. With high temperatures throughout the season, choosing where to go plays an important role in enjoying the experience without feeling overwhelmed. The island offers a wide range of options, from large, well-equipped beaches to quieter coves where the atmosphere is more relaxed.
A good approach during summer is to vary your beach plans depending on the time of day. More accessible beaches tend to work better in the morning, while exploring less crowded coves later in the afternoon can make the experience more enjoyable.
It’s also worth considering practical factors such as access, parking and proximity to restaurants—especially during peak season. These details can make a significant difference when planning your day and getting the most out of your holiday accommodation in Majorca.
Where to stay in summer
During summer, Majorca changes a lot depending on the area you stay in. Some areas have more activity, with restaurants, beach clubs, and events, while others offer a more relaxed environment. Choosing the right location is key to avoiding unnecessary travel and making the most of each day.
Areas with a livelier atmosphere are usually the most practical for those who want everything close by: beach, entertainment, and nightlife options. This allows you to organize your day without relying as much on a car and makes it easier to adapt to the faster pace of summer.
A good example is Alcúdia, one of the most complete areas during this time, with wide beaches, services, and a varied offering that works very well in summer:
Activities to make the most of the day
Summer in Majorca offers much more than just the beach. The key is to combine different types of plans throughout the day to adapt to the heat and make better use of your time. Alternating between active pursuits and moments of rest allows you to enjoy without getting overwhelmed.
Among the most common options are boat trips to discover less accessible coves, water sports like paddle surfing or snorkeling, and organized activities that allow you to explore the island in a more structured way. Many of these experiences can be easily booked through specialized platforms or local companies operating on the island, which greatly simplifies planning once you’re there.
How to organize a summer day in Majorca:
- Morning → beach or sea activity
- Midday → rest, lunch, or pool
- Afternoon → stroll, light activity, or excursion
- Evening → dinner and local atmosphere

What our clients say
Brilliant stay at the Stewart Lodge Resort, would highly recommend. Beautiful sea views and immaculate gardens. The facilities were spot on – the sauna and steam room were a great way to start the morning. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our stay.

We stayed at Crab Shack in Crail. It is beautifully decorated, clean and spacious with everything you need. It is in a great location, a short walk to the harbour and stunning beaches. It is close to shops and cafes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with our daughter and will be back.

We stayed at lodge26. It is absolutely beautiful. The accommodation is very well equipped and very spacious, especially the master suite; the other two bedrooms are doubles (with two single beds) and are somewhat smaller, but still a good size. The kitchen has everything you need and the living area is spacious. Stewart Resort is lovely. We would be happy to return.

We had a lovely little getaway here. The lodge was very clean, modern and comfortable basically like a home from home. The jacuzzi was amazing and the complex was very clean. There is also a lovely restaurant, gym, sauna/steam room available to use. This was our first time at Stewart’s Resort but it definitely won’t be the last.
